Instrumentation Technician ME Global Shutdown - Fort Saskatchewan (NIGHT SHIFT)

Role Summary:
We are seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta for a start date of May 20th, 2026. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems on commercial and industrial projects. Candidates should be licensed or certified and ready to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair process control equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Work collaboratively with project teams
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Licensedinstrumentation journeyman
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or commercial settings
- Must have valid safety tickets (CSTS, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, WHMIS, TDG, AWP,H2S Alive)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to site
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Compensation & Benefits:
- 20 day shut down; possibilities of redeployment once complete
- Hourly rate or salary range: Varies based on experience; $5 premium for night shift
- 12hour days: 8 Regular, 4Overtime
- LOA: $225 per day
